Before surgery
Concerned about a flat face and uneven nose
Sunmi had often received compliments on her eyes, but felt that her facial shape and the contour of her nose had changed as she grew older. Comments that her appearance looked somewhat masculine made her self-conscious. She hoped for a softer, more feminine impression.
2 weeks after surgery
A change in her overall appearance
She reported little swelling and felt that the result was close to the style she had wanted. She liked the shape and height of her nose and felt that fat grafting had improved her facial contours. The change in her overall appearance was what pleased her most.
2 months after surgery
Preferring a natural result
She felt that a subtle change suited her face. She was particularly pleased with the added facial volume and felt that photographs now showed more definition from different angles. Friends also commented that her eyes looked more attractive within her overall facial balance.
3 months after surgery
Her first studio photo shoot
At three months, she felt accustomed to her appearance and took part in her first studio photo shoot. Although initially nervous, she became more confident as the session progressed. She described enjoying the experience and feeling grateful for the opportunity.
