Before surgery
Wanting a more refined impression
Suji felt that low facial volume made her cheekbones appear prominent. When she lost weight, it tended to show in her face first. Although she had large eyes with double eyelids, her slightly upturned outer corners sometimes gave a sharper impression than she wanted. She hoped for a refined change that would still look like her, along with natural-looking breast volume.
2 weeks after surgery
Noticing a softer appearance
She felt that canthoplasty and fat grafting had changed her overall impression. She was pleased with her profile and with the added definition from nose filler. She reported less pain, swelling and bruising than she had expected, and liked that the changes did not feel excessive to her.
2 months after surgery
Becoming comfortable with the result
At two months, she reported that her breasts had softened and that she was happy with their size and feel. She was also pleased when people described her appearance as softer. She felt she had already become accustomed to her new look.
6 months after surgery
Enjoying photographs again
By six months, she had also undergone a second fat-grafting session. She described eating well during recovery and gaining a little weight. She enjoyed taking selfies, felt more confident without makeup and was happy that people did not always recognize that she had undergone surgery.
