How much is a plastic surgery consultation for an international patient at DI?

This page does not publish a fixed consultation fee. Ask DI for the current consultation fee, whether it is separate from the procedure price and what the appointment includes. Do not assume that an inquiry, examination or consultation is free. A surgery price guide does not establish the consultation charge or your final treatment quotation.

How is the final plastic surgery cost at DI determined?

The final quotation depends on the assessed procedure, complexity, anesthesia, examinations, materials and follow-up plan. A published price guide is a starting point; request a current itemized estimate for your individual plan.

Is the published revision rhinoplasty price an all-inclusive quote?

No. DI’s English price guide dated September 11, 2026 lists KRW 4,000,000 including VAT as a standard procedure price. Anesthesia, materials, graft-related procedures and revision complexity may involve additional fees. Prices may change; confirm the current scope and price with the clinic.

What should I ask to see in an itemized estimate?

Ask which procedure and treatment areas are covered, and whether VAT, anesthesia, tests, materials, medicines and postoperative reviews are included or separate. Also ask about extra visits, additional treatment, payment, cancellation and refund terms.

What travel costs should I plan for separately?

Plan separately for flights, accommodation, local transport, meals and possible itinerary changes or an extended stay. Confirm required follow-up visits and travel clearance with the treating team before booking a non-refundable return flight.

This is a standard procedure price rather than an all-inclusive quotation for every revision case. What can change the final cost?

The procedure discussed online may differ from the plan recommended after an in-person examination. The extent and complexity of surgery, whether this is a first or revision procedure, the proposed anesthesia, examinations, grafts or other materials, and the follow-up plan are all matters to clarify in a written estimate. These are questions for the clinic—not a formula for calculating your own price.

A photograph or brief message cannot establish medical suitability, the exact surgical method, or a binding quotation. Ask the surgeon to explain why each part of the proposed plan is appropriate and what alternatives, including no surgery, are available.

What should you ask the clinic to include?

Request a written explanation of the quoted procedure, anesthesia and monitoring, preoperative tests, any proposed materials, medicines, and the expected postoperative reviews. Ask whether a change in the plan, an extra visit, or treatment of a complication would involve additional charges. Do not assume two clinics include the same services simply because their headline prices look similar.

Budget for the trip as well as treatment

International patients should plan separately for flights, accommodation near the clinic, local transport, meals, and the possibility of extending a stay if recovery takes longer than expected. The safe time to fly and the number of follow-up visits depend on the procedure and your condition; confirm both with the treating team before booking a non-refundable return ticket.

If you hope to use insurance for a functional concern, ask the clinic what diagnostic information it can provide and confirm eligibility directly with your insurer. Cosmetic and functional elements, policy terms, and country-specific coverage may differ. DI cannot determine your insurer’s decision from an online inquiry.
